Almost ten Ringed Teal ducklings decided to explore the surroundings. They climbed up the embankment and waded to the street. Their parents called them desperately. Some passers-by returned them to the water

The ringed teal is a perching duck. Perching ducks differ from other duck species in that they perch in trees. The pointed claws are a specialization for this.
