Victoria and Ricardo discovered this nest on 8th of November. It seems to be practically finished and the male is taking feathers to cushion the inside part of the nest. Almost a month later 4th of December the female is incubating. Both parents take turns to do this task. On 6th two bills claim for food. By 13th, a week later, one of the nestlings can be seen almost completely. The plumage is the colour of that of the adult and oral flanges are quite conspicuous. Parents feed the nestlings bringing all sort of insects. In the last photo the father keeps an eye on Victoria and Ricardo, the authors of these photos, as he sees how the chick moves in the nest. By next week we will certainly find them outside the nest and their parents will keep feeding them for a while.
