On Saturday this grebe was already sitting on eggs and further to the Brasil end we spotted another active nest.

We had detected two pied-billed grebe nests though we did not know exactly the beginning. Here we could see two little grebes. One of them is being fed by the adult. Later as we walked towards the Brasil end we discovered the other nest had also finished its cycle. Al least one little grebe was with its parents..

The adult grebe already has two chicks but sits on the nest again. There may be another egg still to hatch. The grebes begin incubation as they lay eggs. So the chicks are born with the same difference of days.
