The state of the water in the Coypu Pond. These are views of this pond from the Brasil end. It is the deepest area with more water consequently. Though this pond is filled with water from the river we had been watching a water level descent. Rumour said the pump was being repaired. In fact the filter has been changed. But at the same time the green tide reached the coast and rumour also said the pond was not filled for that reason.

At the new viewpoint the shallowest part of the pond. As it was said the scarcity of water exposed a mudflat which is an appropiate environment for shorebirds, many of which migrate from the north and arrive here at this time of the year. Some sandpipers and yellowlegs made a stop and we could enjoy the sight at close range
