Urutu pit viper

Lots of sightings of urutu. In the photos there is a pair with remarkable difference in size, being the female the bigger. This pair was in the same area rather exposed by the road, so the place was roped off to prevent accidents. Judging by the head patterns there are differente individuals.

The swarm is the system by which bee colonies reproduce. The queen along with drones and worker bees leave the hive which will remain in charge of a new queen. They make a stop at a tree preferable till they locate the new home.

This dog fell into the Coypu Pond as it was walking on the wall with its owner. We witnessed the rescue. A string was brought and the owner went down to catch it. The dog was really scared. As it was on solid ground again it burst with joy and ran from side to side.
