 Photo taken from the Brasil entrance 24 hours after fire break out. Fire started on the Pampas Grass Path and flames spread towards the river covering some 60 hectares. The severe drought and an inadequate fire extinguishing system hindered firefighting operations. It took four days to extinguish all seats of fire. © Silvia Loiacono |
 Photo of the area known as the former Covimet Warehouse (January, 24th). These 18 hectares were incorporated to the Reserve under the plan of recovering green public spaces for the city.
