Middle photo: Still with feathered head and wings with a pink colouring. The eye is red and the legs, reddish. Bottom photo: Juvenile on the right and adult on the left. The adult is characterized by a bald greenish head with nape and auriculars blackish. Crimson on wings is evident. Legs are reddish.

The black line extending beyond the eye remembers the slanted eye of Asian people. The yellow-billed pintail lacks this line. This is one of the characteristics which tell apart these two confusables.

The Screaming Cowbird parasitizes almost exclusive the Greyish Baywing. In the photo a young Screaming Cowbird is claiming for food. The plumage of both birds is quite similar. But on the screaming Cowbird black spots are already appearing.
