The greenish legs and the bill led us to erronously conclude that this was a juvenile Little Blue Heron. Lui explains to us that the little blue heron has the face of another colour and that in this plumage outer primaries should be expected to have some black colouring.
Up until recently it has been known as Gracilinanus agilis chacoensis and now it is Cryptonanus chacoensis..
I saw the Barn Swallows over the court area at Viamonte. First there were 5 or 6. I stayed there ready to shoot them on the wing. Then there were two individuals, the ones photgraphed. All of them moved very high and quickly from south to north. Besides there was a bigger number of Brown-chested Martins, groups of 20/30 which flew in moving circles. Along this same "corridor" caracaras and chimangoes went by.
