It belongs into the family Araneidae. This spider is not considered dangerous. Though in kids, weak or allergic people there may be complications. In the photo above we can see some threads are thicker forming a zig zag pattern. These decorations are called stabilimentum (stabilimenta in plural) and its function is a subject of debate.
